Villa i Broi was built in 1884 as an extension of a pre-existing farmhouse dating back to 1700.
The site was chosen by the lawyer Alessandro Lenotti (1855-1920) for its panoramic position and central location in relation to the numerous farms and countryside, which was mainly cultivated with vines.
The extension also affected the foundations of the farmhouse, where a wine cellar was built - which was very advanced for the time - with a capacity of about 1500 quintals.
The buildings are surrounded by a ring road built to allow the efficient transit of wagons from the surrounding countryside to unload the grapes in the cellar for the winemaking processes.
The west wing, built at a later date to be able to follow the harvesting and grape harvesting period, was completed in 1905.
In the early 2000s, the property underwent major restoration and renovation work, carried out with great care and passion with the aim of preserving the materials, furnishings and history of the building.
